Our Christian lives are to be characterized by humility.  We are to look out for the interest of others – we are to be others centered.  Jesus’ mind, His attitude, His heart – was exactly that, others centered. He poured Himself out for us!  He is the ultimate example of humility.  We are indwelt by His Holy Spirit, and we can follow Him in His humility.  God has worked His will into our lives; He is conforming us into the image of His Son; we must be willing participants, obedient to the Holy Spirit, and have a desire to live our lives in humility following Jesus’ humble example. When our lives are poured out for Christ and for others, we can rejoice together in unity and shine as lights in the world.
