Like a runner stretching toward the goal of the prize at the finish line, the Christian has a goal in life.  In Christ, our goal on earth is to know Jesus more and more, subsequently, becoming more like Him.   Our ultimate goal is our heavenly home with Jesus. As we eagerly wait for His return, we must keep on running the race to know Him more and more in anticipation of that day when we see Him face to face.
