Chronological Life of Jesus 130 - We are all given a measure of talent by God, with an expectation that we will use them for His glory. And there will be a day when He returns for an accounting of what we have done with them. Since this parable is within the context of the Olivet Discourse - a teaching on end times - we have to look at it as a challenge to be ready at all times, but caught up as a 'good and faithful servant'.
