Because Jesus the Son is the creator and sustainer of all life, because Jesus the Son is eternal, because Jesus the Son is the last word given by God the Father, because Jesus the Son is the express image of God the Father, because Jesus the Son is superior to the angels, because Jesus the Son is seated at the right hand of the Father having given salvation, we must pay attention to Jesus, and heed His Word. Everything points to the superiority of Jesus and why we must pay attention to Him.
